If they express doubt, then I remind them that version 1 did not have that feature. Sometimes people describe Transcribe! as 'a program for slowing music down without changing the pitch',and when they do I usually reply that they are missing the point, that Transcribe! is a specialized playerfor people who transcribe music, and slowdown is only one of its features, and often not the mostimportant one.
